Class of Travel
Pelita Air provides 3 travel classes:

Economy Class passengers benefit from free seat selection, a 20 kg checked baggage allowance, and 7 kg carry-on baggage. Affordable fares make it an excellent choice for cost-conscious travelers seeking quality and value.

Economy Flexy option allows passengers to reschedule flights without additional administrative fees and select preferred seats.

Premium Class offers free hot meals, exclusive lounge access, priority check-in and boarding, a 25 kg baggage allowance, USB power outlets, and comprehensive inflight entertainment, ensuring a superior travel experience.

Baggage Allowance
For cabin baggage, Pelita Air permits each passenger to carry one main baggage weighing up to seven kilograms with dimensions of 56x36x23 centimeters on A320 aircraft. Additionally, passengers may bring one free carry-on item, such as a handbag, overcoat, umbrella, pocket camera, reading material, cabin-size baby stroller, or collapsible wheelchair, ensuring convenience and compliance with size and weight limits.

For checked baggage, Pelita Air allows a complimentary allowance of twenty kilograms per passenger. Each checked item must not exceed thirty-two kilograms, and heavier bags must be repackaged accordingly.

Check-in
Pelita Air offers several check-in methods to accommodate passenger needs.

Airport check-in is available from two hours up to thirty minutes before departure at designated counters, requiring valid identification.

Mobile check-in can be completed between twenty-four hours and four hours prior.

Kiosk check-in is accessible from eight hours to forty-five minutes before departure.

Online check-in through Pelita Air’s website or mobile app provides a faster, more convenient option, allowing passengers to print or save boarding passes on their mobile phones. However, passengers without e-tickets, infants under two not occupying seats, those requiring special assistance, and group bookings exceeding nine are excluded from this service, ensuring a streamlined process for eligible travelers.

Onboard Support

Pelita Air ensures comprehensive support for passengers with special needs by adopting disability-friendly practices. Passengers are encouraged to communicate their requirements during booking or via the contact center, such as wheelchair assistance. They should separate essential items that will be stored in the checked luggage and follow staff instructions throughout check-in, boarding, and baggage claim processes.

Specific services include medical documentation for expectant mothers, who must sign a Form of Indemnity and are restricted from flying after 36 weeks gestation. Unaccompanied minors, aged six to twelve, receive dedicated assistance, while elderly passengers and those requiring medical aid, like oxygen masks or wheelchairs, receive tailored support to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Refund & Cancellation

Pelita Air may modify or cancel flights due to uncontrollable circumstances, including adverse weather, traffic delays, safety, or operational reasons, and will refund the paid travel costs accordingly. In cases of force majeure, such as natural disasters, full refunds are provided to the ticket purchaser.

Passengers seeking voluntary refunds must contact the carrier or its authorized agents. Refund amounts vary based on the cancellation timing.
